Again we were to revisit Swanage and Lyme Regis in the autumn starting with dives in Swanage with Mary Jo . It was good to see Jon Crimes teaming up with Ian Grandfield again (the trip organizers Jon and Ian) making it easy for the rest of us to join. The diving started with Le fleur to warm up before we dived the Valentine tanks in the afternoon. The weather was pretty good and the water exhibited good visibility so that we could just float in the water and stare at the huge school of bibs almost surrounding us of the Valentine tanks. The tanks has a couple of inhouse Conger Eel to play with.
After two lovely dives and a bit of food we set off to Lyme Regis for diving on the Monday. The day started with lovely weather we looked forward to dive the Bayr Tano, and Argentinian ship originally, at about 20m. The visibility was fantastic and we could explore the wreck in its full length.
On the return to shore we finished with a drift dive on one of the ledges named by the skipper for the day. Unfortunately it was not too much to see, but we ended up with scallops to take home.
An absolutely wonderful time was had by us all, and many thanks to Jon and Ian for organizing this trip.
